Our Platform

We are running to empower students, and to create a student government that solves student issues with student solutions. The providence of history has shown that unless we speak up, unless we fight to make ourselves heard, we will be ignored. It’s time the Pioneers had a stronger voice. For if we stand together united, we will never be defeated. Make yourself heard by renewing your commitment to our Pioneering spirit. With courage we will stand together and we will be heard.

Repeal Selfish Perks, Use The Money For Student Issues

Senators and Executives are given too many perks which don’t equate with merit. When President, I will take away the ‘free’ hockey tickets all Senators receive from your student activity fee, and I will repeal the selfish Executive Branch grant instituted in 2010. This totals over $6,500! Instead of giving Senators and Executives ‘free’ season tickets and grants I will use the money to buy two free hockey tickets for students to our most important games. Free hockey tickets will foster spirit!

Let's Fix the SafeRide

The DU Shuttle is broken. When surveyed, 54% of DU students found the shuttle unreliable or very unreliable. As a vital service to students, and as a service that relies on your funds to operate, the DU Shuttle has plenty of room for improvement. Help us make the saferide more accessible by sharing your thoughts. Help us implement a mobile website, service schedule times, gps tracking, and more options for students

Hockey Tickets

Students are relegated to alleys, expense, and subjugation at the hands of the Ritchie Center. Students should be allowed to purchase $5 hockey tickets, no matter the day of the week. Voice your concerns and make sure the Ritchie Center knows we want change. Let's work together to inject even more spirit into Pioneer athletics. Currently, students must enter games through a dimly lit back entrance. Students need to work together and improve our environment. We need to put the rally in "rally alley". Help paint the Ritchie Center crimson and gold.

Wind Energy

Currently, we spend $90,000 annually to purchase energy credits from a company that builds wind turbines in Florida. Not only is this not the best use of your funds, but it isn't very accessible or tangible. I propose we divert those funds to construct our own alternative energy sources. Our project should be accessible to students, not something unverifiable in Florida. Let's make something students can learn from, students can have pride in. Something students can call their own (with a Pioneer logo!).
